Michelle and Brian // Fire Island Wedding // Palms

I’ve been a few places this year I’ve never been before, Fire Island Ocean Beach is like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of “regular” life.  Michelle and her sisters were getting ready at the Palms Suites while the sun and the clouds were battling to see who would prevail. 2015-07-02_001 2015-07-02_002

Michelle’s smile and personality are infectious and charming.  I was so excited to be able to be here for this celebration.2015-07-02_003

My second shooter Leslie (of Leslie Renee Photography, my neighbor and a wonderful family photographer) was hanging with the guys while I was with the girls. Love this classic shot of Brian. 2015-07-02_013Girls and boys preceremony2015-07-02_012Three frames, the beginning of the ceremony, Michelle figuring out it was about to pour and then running for cover!2015-07-02_004We finished the remainder of the ceremony under the tent, which was fortunate because it started to POUR as soon as the minister began the ceremony again. 2015-07-02_005 2015-07-02_006

I convinced Michelle and Brian to bear with me for a few minutes to take advantage of the island for pictures despite the rain.  Luckily she brought along a rainbow umbrella and we ducked for cover under porticos wherever we could.  Thank you guys for trusting me!  2015-07-02_007 2015-07-02_008 2015-07-02_009 Some fun with the bridal parties…
