Baby Margaret Lifestyle Newborn Session

After Margaret’s newborn session I felt as if I were indoctrinated into the family.  Within this family/friend unit I have photographed 3 of their babies, one extended family session and will be shooting a wedding this month!  Every single person I have met belonging to this group of people have been the most open/heartfelt individuals.  I am so lucky that they chose me, I feel like I won the greatest prize to have them as my clients!

Baby Margarets mom Liz contacted me about shooting her newborn session, she wanted to be able to capture all that newness in a relaxed setting and in their home where they started their family.

Baby lips and toes ❤

I love to get different angles and natural expressions and these guys did not disappoint.

Black and white and full of love

A special request, momma reading Jane Eyre to Margaret.

Riley’s Newborn Session // Lifestyle Newborn Photographer // Long Island

Riley was 2 weeks new what he made his photography debut, fortunately for him his big brother was a natural ham for the camera.

(big HUGE shout out to my new assistant Becca for her amazing skills at this session)

Amelia // Long Island Lifestyle Newborn Session

Lifestyle newborn sessions are one of my all time favorites.  Possibly because I can relate with the stress and exhaustion since having one of my own, and also because babies are so squishy and cute I can’t believe part of my job allows me to snuggle them and capture these fleeting moments that pass so quickly.

Mer and her family are friends and neighbors of ours, their son and my son are best friends…they share of love of Thomas the Train like NO OTHER!

But quite frankly, I don’t know if I can be friends with someone who looks this gorgeous after giving birth 😉tricia-laponte-photography_085 Oh Lo, you are such an amazing big brother ❤tricia-laponte-photography_086 Baby.  Details. Annabelle // Long Island Family Session and Cake Smash

When one of your friends has a baby who has first birthday, you gotta smash the cake!

I got to hang out with the M family for a bit to capture the littlests first cake smash and a few family portraits.  Some people might think, ooooh 3 year old twins AND a 1 year old…that’s a challenge. Me?  LOVED IT!

The twins are spunky and smart, and Annabelle is just a ball of sweet mush ❤

I did get the “everyone look at the camera” photo as well…but this is real life and I love it and them. tricia-laponte-photography_070tricia-laponte-photography_071 tricia-laponte-photography_072 tricia-laponte-photography_073 tricia-laponte-photography_074 tricia-laponte-photography_075

L Family // Lifestyle Newborn and Family Session // Long Island Family Photographer

When another photographer/friend asks you to photograph her family it’s nerve wracking.  But, then she has the biggest smiliest family ever and all the nerves go bye bye 🙂

Connie and her fam welcomed their newest baby boy and I had the pleasure of hanging with them to capture the new clan. 2016-05-11_001 2016-05-11_002

Thanks for the honor of having me shoot your family!

Our New Arrival

March 6th, after only 23 hours, this little man joined our family.

Nathan Michael.  We are overjoyed, over loaded with love (and laundry), and a little overtired 😉

We are getting our newborn photos done by my friend and wonderful photographer Jennifer Wilbur Photography on Sunday but I couldn’t help but take a few of my own.
I’m shooting my first wedding tomorrow (so excited to get back in the saddle) and then off for a few weeks. If you need anything don’t hesitate to email me and I will get back to you as soon as I have a moment.
Without further ado, here is Nathan 🙂

The R Family!!

Oh HAIII!!

Two posts in one week!  It must be a Christmas miracle!

Speaking of miracle, after all the craziness of Hurricane Sandy, I miraculously squeezed some family photoshoot goodness into the schedule!

I’ve been photographing this family since their oldest had his christening.  I love to see families grow and how adorable the kids get.

I love the little lip thing, both brothers do it 🙂

mama love ❤
