It’s always a Snoopy-dance moment when one of my sessions gets picked up as a feature for a wedding blog. Laura and Frank’s Sagamore Hill engagement session from last year made it into Borrowed and Blue!!
Don’t sit under the apple tree, with anyone else but me… That song might have well as been playing while I edited this playful session at Sagamore Hill. And how appropriate it would have been. Laura and Frank decided on a 1940’s theme for their engagement session complete with Liberty rolls and all! Luckily for me I also had the rare pleasure of working with a couple who actually really, really knew about the location we were working in since they both work there! I had the opportunity to learn about the apple orchards and Teddy Roosevelt’s house (which is currently under construction…boo!). For this shoot I definitely played a lot more with editing than I typically do, to achieve a more vintage vibe within these images.
